HuffPo to Post Disclaimer “Trump is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist, birther and bully” on All Stories About Him

If you ever got really bored and wondered just where exactly the overtly liberal Huffington Post really stands on Donald Trump, here’s your answer.

On the outlet’s stories about him, which were for a time being listed in the “Entertainment” section instead of “Politics,” — arguably interchangeable on HuffPo — staff will start adding the following disclaimer at the bottom:

Note to our readers: Donald Trump is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist, birther and bully who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.

According to Politico, “A Huffington Post spokesperson told POLITICO that the note will be added to all future stories about Trump.”

“Yes, we’re planning to add this note to all future stories about Trump,” the spokesperson said. “No other candidate has called for banning 1.6 billion people from the country! If any other candidate makes such a proposal, we’ll append a note under pieces about them.”

So it should be no surprise then that Huffington Post also provided its readers with very little coverage of the New Year’s Eve mass rapes and sexual assaults in multiple towns across Europe involving refugess. I did find this single story reposted from an AP source that twists the whole event into being “anti-Islam” first and foremost, and does not specifically discuss the mass rapes and sexual assaults and claims, “Specifics of the New Year’s Eve assaults [note: see? Not “rapes” or “sexual” assaults, just “assaults”] and who were behind them are still being investigated” even though much further down in the same story it is pointed out that, “The people in the focus of the criminal investigation are primarily from North African countries,” police said. “Most are asylum seekers or people living illegally in Germany.”

Then again, it isn’t like anyone actually goes to Huffington Post for fair and balanced representation of “the news”. Soccer moms go to HuffPo to read stories about their goddess Hillary Clinton cracking a pot joke.

HuffPo’s Arianna Huffington is George Soros-linked, and we all know the elite can’t stand Trump. Still, it’s funny to watch them resort to playground tactics in the face of his popularity in the polls.
