Criminal Messages Sheriff’s Dept on Facebook So the Sheriff Taunts Him on Twitter

What’s worse? A criminal ignorant enough to respond with his personal Facebook account to the sheriff’s dept that has warrants for his arrest, or sheriff who spends his time on his own personal Twitter account taunting and bullying said ignorant criminal?

Ah, crime in the technologically trendy age. What a bunch of little kids.

Take the instance of Andrew Marcum. On March 3rd, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office posted this wanted updated on BCSO’s official Facebook page.

Okay, they want people to help them do their job. Fine.

The 21-year-old does have an extensive criminal background, we’ll grant you that.

Butler, in his infinite wisdom, decided it would be a good idea to actually respond to the sheriff’s office on Facebook.

To which the sheriff’s office responds with an invitation to stop by, and thousands of people have a laugh at someone else’s expense.

But, that apparently wasn’t enough. Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones personally took to Twitter to taunt Marcum, repeatedly:

Marcum was apparently arrested shortly thereafter, crying:

To which the sheriff also posted:

All kidding aside, what’s worse? A criminal ignorant enough to respond with his personal Facebook account to the sheriff’s dept that has warrants for his arrest, or sheriff who spends his time on his own personal Twitter account taunting and bullying said ignorant criminal?
