You Might Be A Terrorist If You…

The Department Of Justice has asked that local merchants like mall owners, home improvement stores, retail stores, hobby shops, rental shops, hotels and financial institutions train employees and develop procedures and reporting standards by which they will be able to identify and communicate directly with law enforcement in their area about potential terrorist activity.

You Might Be A Terrorist If You…

A new bill brought to committee by Arizona Republican Senator John McCain will give the government authority to hold and imprison terror suspects indefinitely.

Anti-terrorism bill S.3081:  Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010 utilizes definitions of “terrorism” under the Patriot Act and further expands the government’s control over American citizens by essentially destroying the right to due process set forth under the U.S. Constitution. As has been previously reported, the Department of Homeland Security has expanded surveillance of terrorist activities to include veterans, those who display Gadsden flags, survivalists and others who engage in so-called extremist activities. The Department of Justice, with the help of local law enforcement and the citizenry, is now further expanding the definition of suspicious and potential terrorist activity.

A recent InfoWars report brings to light a new “Communities Against Terrorism” project from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, a component of the U.S. Department of Justice:

According to a hand-out distributed by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, a component of the Justice Department, “extremist literature distributed at the mall or posted on public bulletin boards” is suspicious and a potential indicator of terrorist activities.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance has distributed pamphlets and posters to local police departments with the hopes that the information will then be disseminated at specific local venues. The DOJ agency has asked that local merchants like mall owners, home improvement stores, retail stores, hobby shops, rental shops, hotels and financial institutions train employees and develop procedures and reporting standards by which they will be able to identify and communicate directly with law enforcement in their area about potential terrorist activity.

The pamphlets for each type of business venue on the DOJ’s list is available at the Dallas Police Department’s website.
