You know how frustrating it is when someone doesn’t get your order right at the drive thru?

Your first reaction probably has never been to do this:

Jupiter, Florida resident Joshua James (above) decided it would be a funny “prank” to toss a three-and-a-half foot alligator through a Wendy’s drive thru window, ya know, like ya do.

Not a joke.

Surveillance footage shows the woman working the drive thru’s reaction as she realizes oh by the way there’s an alligator on the floor and quickly jumps out the same window.

James was apprehended shortly thereafter.

Surveillance-camera footage and a credit-card record led the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to James. Just after 1 a.m. Oct. 11, 2015, a white four-door pickup truck pulled into a 7-Eleven gas station in Royal Palm Beach near Southern and Crestwood, according to the FWC.

The driver, later identified as James, climbed out of the truck through the driver’s window instead of the door, officials wrote. James, wearing jeans and a backward hat, and an unidentified male talked outside the truck while James pumped gas and appeared to keep looking at something inside it, according to security footage mentioned in the FWC report.

FWC workers were able to subdue the alligator at the restaurant and tape its mouth shut. They later released the animal at a nearby canal. (Via Palm Beach Post)

He pled guilty to misdemeanor charges and is scheduled for sentencing May 31st.
