A couple visited the King Street Reddi Mart in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada on Monday afternoon, and a movie-worthy comedic criminal caper ensued.
Brittany Burke, 29, and Richard Pariseau, 28, went above and beyond to try to escape police after the convenience store owner called the police on suspicion that the Pariseau was trying to use a stolen credit card.
Pariseau is facing 11 charges, including using a stolen credit card, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer, while Burke has been charged with obstructing a police officer, failure to comply with an undertaking, and mischief, ABC reported.
