This morning, President Trump spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., and for some unknown reason (Narcissism? Megalomania? Your guess is as good as mine) he took a cheap shot at Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is the host of The New Celebrity Apprentice.

Here’s what Trump – who is still listed as an executive producer of the show – said:

“They hired a big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger to take my place, and we know how that turned out.

The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster. And Mark [Burnett] will never, ever bet against Trump again, and I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings.”

Arnold promptly responded to the jab in a video posted to his social media accounts:

“Hey Donald, I have a great idea. Why don’t we switch jobs: You take over TV, because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job. Then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”

Here’s a video of Trump’s comments, followed by Arnold’s response…

Daniel Ketchell, a spokesman for Schwarzenegger, fired back at Trump this morning, reports ABC News:

“Arnold is praying that President Trump can start improving his own approval ratings, which were the worst in history for an incoming president, by taking his job seriously and working inclusively.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has slammed Schwarzenegger. Last month, Trump sent out the following Tweet:

Schwarzenegger shot back:

Are the two men simply roasting each other a bit, or is there more to this?

On October 8, Schwarzenegger Tweeted that he would not be voting for Trump:

Is this real life? Because it is starting to feel like everything is a reality show.
