Trump: “There Were No WMDs”; Jeb: “My Brother Built a Security Apparatus to Keep Us Safe”
At the last debate, Trump went after Jeb on 9/11 and the fact that the American public was lied to about WMDs to get the U.S. into a war in Iraq. People supposedly booed, but when they panned to the crowd, there were no people booing.
Jeb’s response? To equate Trump to Obama, blaming George W. for all of his administration’s problems, to which people cheered the way fangirls used to cheer for the Beatles.
Then Jeb goes:
“I am sick and tired of him going after my family. My dad is the greatest man alive in my mind.”
And little later…
“And while he was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe.”
Wow… a magical place where George H. W. Bush is the greatest man alive, and the “security apparatus” that his son George W. built is only there to “keep us safe” and not enslave us in an Orwellian nightmare under the Patriot Act, NDAA, and Homeland Security. Must be nice to live inside Jeb’s fantasy land where everything his family has done to America is loving and sprinkled with fairy kisses.
