THIS is Amerika: TSA Treats 3-Year-Old Wheelchair-Bound Children on Way to Disney, Like Terrorists

I’ve done a bit of traveling for my day job this year, New York City, Texas, Connecticut, L.A., and yes, even Orlando the home of Disney World. I drew my line in the sand a long time ago as it relates to the TSA and their millimeter wave or backscatter X-ray scanners – I opt out. Every single time. I’ve never been through one.

The TSA has made the experience of traveling through our nation’s airports a stressful, unenjoyable chore. Its now a trip through Huxley’s Brave New World watching the willing sheeple herded through the scanners, with nary a whimper of complaint. To me, it’s 1984 in 2012. To the sheeple “it’s necessary security measures for our safety!” Pathetic. But no matter how bad the experience is, I am an adult and I am equipped with the faculties and perspective to understand what is happening to me.

But for the child shown in the video below, his trip through Chicago’s O’Hare airport on the way to Orlando in 2010 to visit the Magic Kingdom with his parents and grandparents, served as an act of terror against an innocent. A baptism into the police state which is Amerika, home of the slaves. Of course, it really needs to be said that even my strategy of ‘opting out’ still would not have saved this child from this negative experience, not in a country where everyone’s a suspect.
