Snitches on a Train: Man Calls Police On Fellow Passenger for…Eating a Burrito (Video)

BBQ Becky and Permit Patty… meet Burrito Bart.

A video of a Northern California BART train passenger confronting another man about his meal was uploaded to Reddit on Sunday and is going viral on social media.

The footage shows a snitch man on BART train in Oakland berating another passenger for disregarding the rules and eating a burrito.

When berating the man didn’t work, Mr. Snitch then went to the radio system and demanded a police officer get on board because a man is “dining in the first car.”

Other people on the train can be heard laughing and encouraging the burrito eater.

Then, a man carrying a drink boards the train. The horrors!

Good grief.

Now, even if you agree that eating on public transit is rude, does it really warrant calling the police?

Unfortunately, calling the cops on people who are simply minding their own business and going about living their lives seems to be a growing trend.

This video highlights two recent examples known as “BBQ Becky” and “Permit Patty.”

Government “authorities” often shut down kids’ lemonade stands, vendors selling things like water or flowers without a permit (gasp!), fine people for having yard sales without permits, and a myriad other victimless “offenses.”

But people calling the police on others – especially children – for simply trying to enjoy themselves or earn a bit of money…that’s a whole different level of wicked.

If the worst thing you see in your neighborhood is people eating on a train, or kids selling bottled water in front of your building, well…I’d say you have it pretty good. First world problems, indeed.
