Radical Muslim In TX: “We Are Above The Law Of The Land”

Executive Director of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Council on American-Islamic Relations Mustafaa Carroll spoke at a rally for Islam in Austin, Texas and told the crowd that members of Islam should not be bound by American law. “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” Carroll said.

The website that promoted the event, which took place on January 13, 2013 stated that “Muslims all throughout the State of Texas drove to the State Capitol Building in Austin, Texas and conducted a variety of events to promote civic and political activism throughout the wider Muslim community.” I’d say that with the statements issued at this event that the status of American and Islamist relations are not very good. In fact, the relationship is hostile.

A reporter paraphrased Carroll’s statement by writing, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant” and the Quran “should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

Carroll also joked about the concern over the past year about the rise of Shariah law in America. “We tried to downplay Shariah, because we didn’t want to give the other side any excitement for being here,” he said. HE then dismissed critics of Shariah by referring to them as “anti-foreign.” I’ll see him that and raise him that he is not only anti-American, but his religion meets the biblical definition of anti-christ.

He attempted to soft peddle Shariah stating, “If you understand Shariah, the foundation of our faith … how we treat our neighbor, how we treat our parents … how we participate in society, all of that is part of Shariah.”

Mustafaa Carroll is on record as defending and supporting Hamas. Yet, he spoke openly saying “I think you can only blame Hamas for so long. It takes two to tango. And I think, you know, that what we’ve heard for a number of years is this terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, was not just Hamas.”

Others also spoke at the event sponsored by CAIR.

John Griffing writes about terrorist-tied CAIR leaders:

As former FBI agent Mike Rolf acknowledges in “Muslim Mafia,” “CAIR has had a number of people in positions of power within the organization that have been directly connected to terrorism and have either been prosecuted or thrown out of the country.” According to another FBI veteran familiar with recent and ongoing cases involving CAIR officials, “Their offices have been a turnstile for terrorists and their supporters.”

A review of the public record, including federal criminal court documents, past IRS 990 tax records and Federal Election Commission records detailing donor occupations, reveals that CAIR has been associated with a disturbing number of convicted terrorists or felons in terrorism probes, as well as suspected terrorists and active targets of terrorism investigations. The list is long and includes:

Ghassan Elashi
Muthanna al-Hanooti
Abdurahman Alamoudi
Siraj Wahhaj
Randall “Ismail” Royer
Bassam Khafagi
Laura Jaghlit
Nihad Awad
Omar Ahmad
Nabil Sadoun
Mohamed Nimer
Rafeeq Jaber
Rabith Hadid
Hamza Yusuf

Griffing provides the background and history of each of these men’s involvement in terrorism.

CAIR founder Omar Ahmad was paraphrased in a 1998 Argus article saying “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant,” and, “The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

Now consider what is said in the above videos by those supported by the organization that Ahmad founded and see if you can smell what Ahmed is shoveling when he attempted to respond to being called on that statement. “These statements are total fabrication and I never said them at all. Actually there (sic) were not direct quote and I challenged the reporter and the newspaper and they published a clarification 3 years ago.”

While this was to be a denial that seemed to satisfy many, including Mike Ghouse, president of a Dallas-based group called World Muslim Congress, who told colleagues in the e-mails that Ahmad allegedly had made a “dangerously militant statement,” the publication denied that any type of clarification or denial had been published.

In this article by Art Moore, you can read the back and forth and lack of solidarity between Muslims over something that is blatantly what Islam believes.

Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR’s communications director, has expressed a desire to overturned the U.S. system for an Islamic state. “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future,” Hooper said in a 1993 interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “But I’m not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education.”

Muslims are very positive about their future. They do believe they will take over the world and many throughout the centuries have sought to do so by force, not by education, as Hooper says.

I might point out that the Bible also teaches that Christ will subdue all of His enemies before the end (1 Corinthians 15), so I am very confident in that as a Christian, but the big difference between Christians and Islam is that not only do we believe the Jesus is the Son of God, the Creator of all things and that He died and rose again for the forgiveness of men’s sins and that the Scriptures of the New Testament are clear that “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” The sword the Christian uses is the Word of God to convert men, not a physical sword threatening men with death if they do not convert.
