Oops: Hillary’s IT Specialist Caught Researching How to Strip Her Address from Her Emails on Reddit

For being an IT specialist, this guy sure left a breadcrumb trail more obvious than Hansel and Gretel.

Back on July 23, 2014, it appears that IT specialist Paul Combetta decided to go on Reddit to ask how to strip a “VERY VIP” person’s email address from their emails.

“Hello all- I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file,” stonetear wrote. “Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out. I am not sure if something like this is possible with PowerShell, or exporting all of the emails to MSG and doing find/replaces with a batch processing program of some sort. Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?”

Just the day before, on July 22nd, the Benghazi Committee asked for Hillary Clinton’s emails to be produced.

Combetta you may recall is the guy who got immunity to testify about how he deleted emails relating to the 2012 Benghazi attack from Hillary’s private email server after the House Select Committee subpoenaed them, and yet he still pleaded the Fifth and refused to testify before the House Oversight Committee — a committee which is currently scrutinizing his Reddit posts right now.

The “VERY VIP” email stripping posts look like responses to direct orders from Hillary’s handlers, especially with the line “Basically they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone…”

While no one has verified 100% for sure that the Reddit posts were Combetta’s, the evidence is pretty convincing, not the least of which is the fact that the username used — “Stonetear” — is linked to multiple other online accounts all registered to Combetta including an Etsy with the user name Stonetear under the name Paul Combetta. (Well, it was anyway until it was deleted yesterday.)

This is being referred to as a smoking gun, but considering all the immunity granted and get out of jail free cards handed out like candy around this case, even if they found a video of Hillary laughing demonically while personally deleting all of her Benghazi emails tomorrow, we all know it wouldn’t matter.

The system has already showed that she is above the law.

Still, if Combetta did write the Reddit post which has been thoroughly archived, along with any other Stonetear accounts people have found, he’s gotta be shaking in his boots somewhere right now…
