NYPD Disbands “Muslim Spying Unit”: Now We’re All Targets

The NYPD Demographics Unit has been disbanded. The secret program was set up to eavesdrop on Muslims in order to pinpoint possible terrorist threats.

“This reform is a critical step forward in easing tensions between the police and the communities they serve, so that our cops and our citizens can help one another go after the real bad guys,” the office of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio wrote in a statement. By that he means me and you, anyone with a view that disagrees with the government is the enemy.

The unit – in operation since 2003 and later renamed the Zone Assessment Unit – logged where Muslims worked, shopped, ate and prayed.

“The Demographics Unit created psychological warfare in our community,” Linda Sarsour of the Arab American Association of New York told the New York Times newspaper.

“Those documents, they showed where we live,” she added. “They were able to see their entire lives on those maps. And it completely messed with the psyche of the community.”

I’ll bet you a dollar to a donut that another “program” was already in place prior to this one being discontinued, and the new unit won’t just be watching Muslims, it will be watching all of us.

The government is becoming increasingly paranoid as the people start to fight back. The Bundy Ranch standoff marked a watershed in what the American people will tolerate from the administration.

As the alternative media continue to publicize things that the mainstream chooses to ignore, more and more people are waking up to the murdering cops, the increased militarization of law enforcement and the international meddling of the government. The NSA spying scandal and the sexual assaults conducted on American citizens by the TSA prove that we are all targets, we are all a threat to the President Pretender.

The winding down of a program that looks at only one segment of society can mean only one thing – We are all considered potential terrorists and we will all be under even more scrutiny in the future.

That the political machine has an agenda so perverse that it put a Kenyan of dubious sexuality and undeclared religion at the head of the United States Government says it all.
