Mom Films Her Son’s Cringe Inducing Encounter With TSA Agent

A mom from Texas is livid after going through TSA screening at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Jennifer Williamson’s son, who has Sensory Processing Disorder, was selected to receive a pat down. Because of his condition, she asked the TSA to screen him with a different method, but they ignored her and patted him down anyway. Williamson decided to film the uncomfortable encounter, and post it to Facebook.

In a Facebook post that has since gone viral, she claims that the TSA kept her and her son at the checkpoint for more than an hour, forcing them to miss their flight. She went on to say that there was no reason why her son was selected for further screening. “Let me make something else crystal clear. He set off NO alarms. He physically did not alarm at all during screening, he passed through the detector just fine. He is still several hours later saying “I don’t know what I did. What did I do?” I am livid.” She also complained that two police officers were called over to observe the situation.

The TSA has disputed her claims. The agency says that she was only there for 35 minutes, and that the police were there to mitigate her concerns. They also claim that her laptop was the reason for the alarm, but they haven’t said why her laptop caused any concern, or why it led them to pat down her son.
