MIT Lecture Asks “Is Islamophobia Accelerating Global Warming?”

To social justice warriors, racism is the ultimate sin. It’s unforgivable. Unless you don’t know you’re a racist. That’s okay because everyone is a racist, and they just haven’t learned to check their privilege yet. Except for minorities. They’re not capable of being racist. Unless of course a person of minority persuasion doesn’t believe in social justice or political correctness. Then that person is definitely a racist.

I’m getting off topic. SJW logic has a habit of doing that, because it’s not logical or consistent at all. The moral code of the SJW is not absolute. It’s entirely situational. The real ultimate sin for these people isn’t racism, it’s disagreeing with them. They’ll jump through all kinds of mental hoops to paint you as the bad guy if you disagree with them. Their movement has reached a point where no argument has to make sense, so long as it attacks people who disagree with them.

And that’s the only reasonable explanation for the following. For the past two days, MIT has been hosting a guest speaker by the name of Ghassan Hage, who has been arguing that Islamophobia is accelerating global warming. According to the description of his event:

This talk examines the relation between Islamophobia as the dominant form of racism today and the ecological crisis. It looks at the three common ways in which the two phenomena are seen to be linked: as an entanglement of two crises, metaphorically related with one being a source of imagery for the other and both originating in colonial forms of capitalist accumulation. The talk proposes a fourth way of linking the two: an argument that they are both emanating from a similar mode of being, or enmeshment, in the world, what is referred to as ‘generalised domestication.’

Does that make sense at all? Of course not. It doesn’t even explain anything. It’s very typical of SJW logic. In their minds, every perceived problem in the world is rooted in oppression. That’s the crux of their movement, because it makes it possible for them to attack anyone who might try to puncture their precious safe space bubbles. Nobody is safe from them though, because when you can get away with nonsensical arguments, you can belittle literally anyone in the world.

Fortunately, these people won’t be around for much longer. Humans may not be all that logical, but we can smell bullshit of this magnitude. Once a movement starts to scrape the bottom of the rhetorical barrel to make an argument, and once they start to make the bombastic and outlandish accusations, their stupidity becomes impossible to ignore, even among the sheep.

Someday soon people will just stop listening to them, at which point they’ll be relegated to their rightful place in society. They’ll be among the shambling, raving homeless, who spout wild conspiracy theories on the streets as passersby try to avoid eye contact with them. Without money, attention, or respect, that’s all they are anyway.
