Militia to be Demonized as Radicals by Media during Upcoming BLM Protest

This Saturday, armed protesters plan to ride ATVs through an off-limits portion of BLM land in Utah.

SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah (INTELLIHUB) — Media rhetoric has just shifted into second gear and is building steam fast.

In fact, the Las Vegas Sun and others have already reported that Bundy Ranch militiamen and women along with members of the Citizens Action Network headed to Utah in preparation to protest the BLM Saturday.

However, proponents of the BLM say that the protesters are nothing more than Ted Nugent fans and Obama hating gun lovers seeking to wage war with the BLM. Rhetoric from the Denver Post reads, “San Juan County residents who support Saturday’s protest ride identify themselves on their Facebook pages as fans of Bundy and guns-rights rocker Ted Nugent. They express hatred for President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat.”

The Denver Post even took it even further in the article, pointing out how, “BLM employees in San Juan County have had windows shot out of their homes and their yards torn up by ATVs in the middle of the night.”

On Saturday May 10, armed protesters plan to ride ATVs through an 11-mile swath of Recapture Canyon, which was ruled off-limits for off-road vehicles by the BLM back in 2007 to protect the surroundings, to taunt the BLM. However, reports claim that the BLM is not bringing back-up agents into the area that will likely fuel the fire. However, the Sheriff’s Dept. reported that they will have deputies in the area.
