It’s a Bad Week to be an Ambassador

Embassies worldwide are under siege due to a controversial film that mocks Islam.

In Libya, the American Embassy was overtaken and US Ambassador John Christopher Stephens was brutally murdered.

In the Sudan the German Embassy has been set on fire and the British Diplomatic mission has been stormed by thousands of protesters.

In Cairo, protesters are in a stand-off with police as they surround the US Embassy there.

Live rounds and tear gas have been fired in an attempt to fend off protesters in Yemen as they march on the American Embassy.

In Tripoli, Lebanon, American fast food restaurants have been set on fire by protesters.

What has caused the world-wide attack on Americans, Germans and Brits?

The low budget film, The Innocence of Muslims:

The Anti-Islam film is a loosely-based biography of the Prophet Muhammed.  It focuses on negative stereotypes of philandering, homosexuality, and child abuse.

The creator of the film,  52-year-old Sam Bacile, admits he wanted to portray Islam as a hateful religion. “Islam is a cancer,” he said in a telephone interview from his home. “The movie is a political movie. It’s not a religious movie.” Bacile told the Wall Street Journal that he was an Israeli-American real estate developer from California. He said Jewish donors had financed his film.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has denied knowledge or record of any citizen named Sam Bacile. Researchers in the US have been unable to find any record of Basile before the making of this film

It appears that the movie was produced to deliberately incite Muslims who find criticism of their prophet to be blasphemous. The film is a deliberate false flag that could incite a world-wide race war.

More than 50 embassies and consulates around the world have warned citizens to be alert to the threat of violence.

UPDATED TO ADD:

Bedouins have attacked a peacekeeper’s camp in Sinai in protest of the movie.

Three have been killed and 29 injured in an attack on the US Embassy in Tunisia.

A currently peaceful protest is taking place in Jos, Nigeria.

200 people are protesting relatively peacefully outside the US Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia.

A small protest has begun in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia outside the US Embassy there.

A demonstration is taking place in Tehran, Iran, where thousands of protesters are shouting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel”

In Baghdad, demonstrators are marching in the streets  with signs saying “No, no America! No, no to Israel,” and, “We are ready to sacrifice ourselves for our Prophet.”

In London England, a group called “Defenders of The Prophet,” held placards denouncing the U.S. and perceived Western imperialism and marched peacefully near the American Embassy.

UPDATED TO ADD
