Hillary Clinton Seeks A New Job, Here’s What She’s Considering

If there’s one word that can sum up Hillary Clinton’s political career, it’s “corruption.” That won’t stop her from seeking fulfillment in a different field, but this one may surprise a few.

The corrupt and embattled Democrat is considering becoming a Methodist preacher. I thought they were taught not to lie, cheat, and steal? Listening to Hillary preach about kindness and compassion will be like listening to children attempt to explain quantum mechanics to each other.

Who can forget John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign chairman, and his spirit cooking creepiness revealed in the Wikileaks emails? It sure seems like Hillary is continuing to lie her way through her hypocritical and corrupt life.

According to The Atlantic, Clinton told her longtime pastor Bill Shillady, at a recent photo shoot for his new book, that she wants to preach. Apparently, this is something that the outlet says has always been a dream for her.  Skeptics, however, see this as nothing more than a public attempt to polish her tarnished reputation.

Last fall, the former Newsweek editor Kenneth Woodward revealed that Clinton told him in 1994 that she thought “all the time” about becoming an ordained Methodist minister. She asked him not to write about it, though: “It will make me seem much too pious.” The incident perfectly captures Clinton’s long campaign to modulate—and sometimes obscure—expressions of her faith. –The Atlantic

Now, as Clinton works to rehabilitate her public image and figure out what she’ll do in the future after her brutal November loss, religion is, apparently, taking a central role. After long months of struggling to persuade Americans that she is trustworthy, authentic, and fundamentally moral, Clinton is lifting up an intimate, closely guarded part of herself. Since she feels that there are no more voters left to lose, sharing her faith publicly and suddenly, is somewhat of a win for her.

Two books are scheduled to come from the Clinton world early this fall. What Happened, Clinton’s personal account of the 2016 election in which she lost to another undesirable presidential candidate, and Strong for a Moment Like This, Shillady’s book of devotionals. Shillady, who runs the United Methodist City Society in New York, wrote the book at Clinton’s suggestion. He said his is the only book for which Clinton has agreed to write a foreword. Clinton and her staffers read and approved the copy ahead of time.

Hillary Clinton has always had a “political mind.” So what made her all of a sudden decided to publicly divulge her religious beliefs? If one has to personally speculate, I’d say she wants to ramp up her book sales. The reason people are balking now, is because of her religious convictions were so important to her, why didn’t she mention this sooner? Politicians constantly make calculated moves and based on Hillary’s corruption laced history, many aren’t buying into it. But some are looking forward to hearing what Hillary has to preach about.

Don’t worry too much though. Hillary will probably only get a guest preacher role.
