This is the science fiction novel we are currently living in.

Genetically modified cows might be a cure for the Ebola virus.
The jungle virus has infected more than 21,000 people, including at least one resident of Madison, and other Americans working on humanitarian medical missions in West Africa. A herd of cloned, genetically engineered cattle in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, are now busy incubating human antibodies against the horrific virus.
Scientists say these cloned cattle will produce “gallons of blood plasma” that could be used to treat people with the deadly virus. Human DNA implanted in the cows produces the antibodies.
“The DNA is being used to produce a hyper-immunized response in a human-antibody-producing large-animal species,” said Dr. Eddie Sullivan, president and CEO of SAB Biotherapeutics Inc.
