‘F*ck All You Libtards’: Town Railroads Pro-Second Amendment Police Chief over ‘Profane Videos’

Gilberton, Pennsylvania Police Chief Mark Kessler has been suspended indefinitely over technicality charges following his strong defense of the Second Amendment right to bear arms.

Chief Kessler has come under fire for reportedly for posting Youtube videos of himself firing automatic weapons and going on what the mainstream media has dubbed “vulgar” and “profanity-laced tirades” about the Second Amendment. (Note the two stories linked above are in Huffington Post and CBS News respectively, but both are the same Associated Press story that is being passed around all over the mainstream media this week, only with different headlines.)

“All you f*cking libtards out there, all you f*cking crybabies, grow a pair of balls and man the f*ck up,” Kessler says as he’s preparing to fire a handgun in one such video. “Alright? You’re a f*cking bunch of p*ssies. ‘Oh Chief Kessler said the f word.’ I’m gonna say it again: F*****ck you!”

Kessler was suspended indefinitely without pay on August 30, 2013 for what Kessler says is, “the trumped up charge of using Borough property without permission”. Associated Press claims the disciplinary action is for, “Allegations including that Kessler improperly used a state-administered program to buy discounted tires for his personal vehicle, failed to submit required crime data and made derogatory comments about borough officials”.

Kessler has other entertaining videos, including one called “Chief Mark Kessler, Kerry & UN , can SUCK IT” with messages to the Secretary of State John Kerry and the United Nations about just exactly what they can do if they try to take his guns.

Many people have pointed out that Chief Kessler is just a patriot using his First Amendment and protecting it with his Second Amendment, and that he did not break any policy by posting these videos in his spare time.

However, Kessler may have also become a target for drafting the borough’s resolution that seeks to nullify any local, state or federal regulation that might in any way infringe upon the Second Amendment. (The AP story above reporting on Kessler buried this little tidbit at the very bottom of the article in its very last sentence.)

As Aaron Dykes previously reported, Kessler’s resolution threatened to kick off a whole movement to nullify any unconstitutional gun control actions coming from Washington: “Yet if dozens, hundreds or even thousands of cities and states across the country take similar action, encroachment by unconstitutional laws or policies can be pushed back, or stopped.” Following Kessler’s lead, other cities and states across the country introduced similar Second Amendment protection resolutions.

The borough adopted the chief’s pro-Second Amendment proposal on January 24, 2013.

In the months since, what is surely an expensive billboard campaign to get Kessler fired has gone up in the tiny town of Gilberton, pop. 867. Here’s a picture of Kessler and his ‘Constitution Defense Squad’ posed in front of one such billboard as posted on his GoFundMe donation support page:

A media circus was created in the tiny town, with many outsiders coming in to speak out against Kessler at city council meetings.

Others have hailed Kessler as a true American patriot who is standing up for the Constitution and defending America’s rights.

On his website, Chief Kessler has noted that this legal battle to get him fired is being funded by Washington:

“so now Gilberton,  officials sided with tyranny, abandoned the constitution &  folded like a deck of cards. as of 8/30/2013 The Chief was suspended indefinitely by Gilberton council!  The chief and his legal council are positive the borough will move for termination within the first week of September, Ironically Senator Bob Casey (D), Pennsylvania, who’s law firm is representing Gilberton Borough, They along with Gilberton officials are seeking to destroy Chiefs lively hood, family, career & life because Chief exercised his First Amendment rights, His second amendment right in a Video, although the Chief used some choice colorful language (which is protected speech) he hurt NO ONE, Broke no policy!!” [emphasis added]
