Carlsbad Nuclear Dump Site has Another Radioactive Leak: Don’t Worry Though – Like Fukushima the Radiation is Safe

Just a month after air radiation levels rose contaminating workers at the Carlsbad nuclear dump site, officials have confirmed a second leak.
The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) near Carlsbad, New Mexico is once again registering higher air radiation levels. The Environmental Protection Agency is, as usual, insisting that the recorded levels are not harmful to health.
Let’s be clear on something here:
ALL RADIATION IS HARMFUL TO HEALTH
If small doses of radiation are safe, why are the reproductive organs covered with lead if you are having an x-ray on your hand? I’ll tell you why, because radiation is unsafe, that’s why. Saying that some levels of man-made radiation, such as that belching from a nuclear waste dump some 600 yards underground is safe, is akin to a woman saying she is a little bit pregnant…
Doctors and scientists KNOW for sure that radiation is dangerous. Low level exposure is dangerous, but it takes years longer to sicken you and decades longer to kill you. Just because you live to be 75 before dying of radiation induced cancer does not make it safe…you may have lived to be 100.
