“Someone who is doing active terrorism within the confines of the United States. It’s not somebody from another country.”

…Police not releasing demographic information about scene or victims until all family members notified.

…Update on fallout: Multiple injured; 7 Dead; 3 Injured

…Two officers engaged by suspect. One was injured. Second officer returned fire and killed suspect.

…First officer on scene was 20 year veteran and expert in tactical response. Immediately confronted suspect. Officer was shot. Officer returned fire; gunman is now deceased.

…Tactical officers (SWAT) have swept the temple

…No additional shooters have been identified (initial reports indicated there may have been multiple shooters)

…Local hospital update : 3 adult males taken to hospital. All sustained gunshot wounds. Critical condition.

Police scrambled and surrounded the Sikh Temple in Oak Creak, a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

…9-1-1- calls began flowing at 10:25AM local time

…It is not yet clear how many gunmen were involved in what police are calling a “coordinated attack” that has left at least one gunman dead.

…An officer was shot but was able to return fire, killing one of the suspects. He is now in surgery.

…Reports indicate that up to 30 people may have been shot

…Six victims have reportedly been confirmed dead.

…Three priests shot.

…A police spokesperson says that the situation is “ongoing and very fluid.”

…SWAT teams have reportedly breached the temple and are looking for additional shooters.
