Big Mac Attack: Woman Runs Over Her Boyfriend 3 Times with Her Truck Because He Didn’t Want to Go to McDonald’s

A Tennessee woman was quite adamant that she wanted to go to McDonalds, but her boyfriend was not lovin’ it.

Crystal Greer Brooks of Kingsport, Tennessee was enraged when her boyfriend (also the father of her baby) wanted to visit a different dining establishment that did not boast of the yellow arches. Apparently she took the jingle, “You want it, need it, you gotta have a taste of McDonald’s burgers” quite seriously. So fervent was Brooks’ desire to gnosh on some crispy fries in the ubiquitous red carton and a paper-wrapped burger that she ran over him with her vehicle not once, not twice, but 3 times.

Upon interviewing a witness, police learned Brooks, her boyfriend and an acquaintance had “all been drinking,” then went out to eat.

Brooks allegedly became angry at their choice of restaurant — which is not identified in the police report — and demanded that her boyfriend pull his pickup truck to the side of the road. As he exited and walked to the front of the vehicle, she slid behind the wheel.

According to witness statements to police, Brooks then pulled forward and struck her boyfriend, knocking him, “onto the hood and then onto the ground.” She’s then alleged to have accelerated forward two additional times, striking her boyfriend in each instance.

Brooks denied hitting the man with the truck, claiming that he had, “jumped onto the hood.” Based on his injuries and tattered clothing, police determined otherwise. (source)

Brooks’ boyfriend survived the Big Mac attack with abrasions and clothing that “appeared torn, consistent with being dragged on the pavement.”

Brooks was arrested, charged with aggravated assault, and locked up at the Sullivan County jail in Blountville.

Police reports do not state where the victim had wanted to eat, but in all fairness, the public must keep in mind that, after all, the McRib is back.
