Biden Claims Bernie Is About to Endorse Hillary, and Bernie Won’t Deny It

In response to this claim, Bernie skirted around it, saying, “As of this moment we’re not there quite yet…” but he did not directly refute any of Biden’s claims. As depressing as it is, we all knew this was coming.

That “bern” you feel is… the inevitability of Hillary.

“I’ve talked to Bernie, Bernie’s going to endorse her, this is going to work out,” Biden said in an interview with NPR’s “Weekend Edition” to air Sunday. “The Democrats are coalescing even before this occurs.” Michael Briggs, a Sanders spokesman, would not confirm or deny the vice president’s assertion.

“We are in the process of talking” with the Clinton campaign, he said, and noted that the candidates met earlier this month to talk about next steps.

Sanders has been withholding his endorsement for weeks, since primary season ended on June 14.
