Australian Government is Training Teachers to Eradicate Sexism Among Preschoolers

The Australian state of Victoria has a new plan to combat sexism and familial violence. They want to strike the root of the problem, which is apparently preschoolers. The Victorian Education and Training Department is developing a program that they will teach to 4,000 teachers to spot kids with sexist biases as young as four years old.

According to a document regarding the new program which was released last week, “As young children learn about gender, they may also begin to enact sexist values, beliefs and attitudes that may contribute to disrespect and gender inequality…Professional learning will ­increase the capacity of early childhood educators to understand and implement respectful relationships and gender equality into their program delivery.”

The document laments the fact that children are aware of “gender expectations” and that they try to “fit within these gendered norms.”

Jenny Mikakos, a Labor Party Minister, expressed her support for the program: “The early years are an important time to start helping children develop a secure sense of self and healthy, respectful ­relationships — this will help prevent family violence in the long-term.”

Or more likely, it will indoctrinate a new generation of children to be hypersensitive about anything that even remotely resembles sexism, and to abandon all notion of gender norms. I guess America isn’t the only Western country with public schools that exist solely to brainwash rather than teach.
