Zen Gardner is kind of like a truther philosopher: he’s fun, intelligent, and insightful, just the kind of personality you need in this field to prevent burnout and most importantly, to not take oneself too seriously.
The “system” (meaning the way things are run) isn’t for everyone – some choose to get out of it, giving up their jobs, comfort and safety nets to find a better life.
Moving outside of this system comes down to a choice, and that choice may take a lot of courage, but once made, many things we’re afraid of seem to solve themselves inexplicably, like a product of fate.
It isn’t easy to quit your job, move house and start a whole new life, but if you do, in a lot of ways it will be the best decision you ever make, only once you lose what you have can you become anything you want.
