We Must NOT Comply

 If you are like the majority of Americans, you really won’t give her account a second thought, as it did not happen to you… or your wife… or your mother… or your sister. Perhaps you will dismiss her account as an aberration, or as testimony from someone who is hypersensitive. Maybe you think it’s much ado about nothing, and that the TSA agents are just doing their jobs. Regardless of the reason, if you are an average American, you won’t even watch the short video clip and you will move on to the next article that will keep your attention for the next 30 seconds, which is the average attention span of most Americans. If any of the above describes you, allow me to ask you a question: When or what will it take for you to give a damn?

Why are you surrendering your rights granted to you by the U.S. Constitution that prohibit warrantless searches? To every man reading this, I ask why you are allowing your wives and daughters, your sons and mothers to be touched, groped and/or subjected to nuclear scans of questionable safety? Exactly when did you abdicate your responsibility to protect your family?

Did you know that since its inception, the TSA has never once stopped a terrorist attack despite their $8 billion per year budget? Are you aware that TSA agents are not commissioned law enforcement officers and do not have municipal, state or federal law enforcement officer training?

Are you willing to allow the TSA to continue to deprive your freedoms and rights at airports? How about on highways and sports stadiums?

When are you going to say “I will not comply” and stand up for your rights?

Be a man – a leader of your family and an example to everyone around you. Stand up for your rights and deny an out-of-control, rogue government agency from conditioning you into compliance. In this case, we all must stick together to be effective. The TSA is the most visible and vulnerable part of the governments assault on our liberties. Together, we can make a difference.

Lest you believe that complaints to the TSA, the DHS or your elected leaders is an effective approach, think again. Download and read through the 205 pages of complaints and accounts of abuse by TSA agents. Be advised, however, that it is a large file (over 8 MB) despite covering only one year – 2010 – and is hardly inclusive.
