Was the Kardashian Robbery an Inside Job? Sure Looks Like It

There is a rumor spreading that Kim Kardashian’s recent robbery in Paris was an inside job – and that her husband Kanye West (and perhaps Kim herself) may have been involved.

There is an incredible article floating around, getting plenty of attention online, claiming that Kanye West is wanted for questioning by Paris police in connection with the robbery of Kim Kardashian-West recently in Paris. When five armed robbers entered Kim’s Paris abode and bound and gagged the reality TV star, Kardashian-West reportedly begged for her life.

The website YourNewsWire reported that Kanye is wanted for questioning by police as a suspect in the Paris robbery case after more evidence has emerged suggesting the jewelry theft was an “inside job”:

Police believe somebody close to Kim Kardashian helped tip off the thieves and Kanye West, though performing at Meadows Festival in New York at the time, has been summoned to the French capital for questioning.

A police source, describing the case as “one of the strangest” they have worked on, said Kanye has “been evasive” and has yet to agree to dates for his hearing.

The bad news for Kanye is that the United States does have an extradition treaty with France, although there has been a history of reluctance on both sides to honor it.

However if French authorities provide enough evidence that the robbery was an “inside job” insurance scam, there will be enormous heat on Kanye to appear in Paris and clear his name.

Steve Stanulis, Kardashian’s former bodyguard, told CNN that robbery had all the signs of a theft that took place at the hands of people who knew exactly when Kim would be alone in her Paris apartment without a bodyguard – and with more than $11.2 million in jewelry.

Earlier this year, Kanye publicly announced he was $53 million in debt and hit up Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for a ONE BILLION DOLLAR loan.

In a Digital Music News article titled Kardashian Hoax: No Cameras, No Evidence, No Witnesses, No NOTHING, Paul Resnikoff wrote:

French police may be investigating a complete hoax, cooked up by the team of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for publicity.  Days after the alleged crime, investigators are coming up almostzero evidence of any crime, raising the possibility of criminal charges being filed against members of the Kardashian family and rapper Kanye West.

Resnikoff goes on to explain that there is no camera footage of the incident (this is probably the only time the couple has NOT been filmed or photographed), no witnesses, no leads, and no evidence.

Was the robbery actually an inside job? If so, who was in on it?

Was this a publicity stunt or an insurance scam? Kardashian reportedly filed an insurance claim for $5.6 million.
