A rogue cow caused udder chaos in a Moo York – er, New York – neighborhood earlier today.

The bull ducked under caution tape, dodged police officers, and trotted through barriers, eluding capture for over two hours.

At around 12:15 pm, the cow settled in the middle of a street as officers armed with tranquilizer equipment tried – and failed – once again to take the animal into custody.

About 10 minutes later, the animal was apprehended in someone’s backyard.

CBS New York reports that the cow escaped from a slaughterhouse. A butcher said they were moving a large group of those cows and he believes this one may have heard a noise got scared and escaped through the fencing. This isn’t the first time this happened with one of their cows. One named Freddie escaped before and led police on a wild chase through Queens. That cow was taken to an animal sanctuary.

The fate of today’s cow has not yet been revealed.
