Venezuelan National Guard Using Chinese Made Armoured Vehicles To Run Over Protestors
Venezuela: Security forces run over protesters in Caracas.
That’s a Chinese made VN4 4×4 armoured vehicle; it has a combat weight of nearly 9 imperial tons.

The VN4, is a multi-purpose 4×4 light armoured vehicle designed and manufactured by China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO).
According to the company website the vehicle can be deployed by armoured infantrymen, police personnel, rapid reaction forces and other security forces in peacekeeping, anti-terrorism and law enforcement missions.
NORINCO supplied the first batch of VN4 armoured vehicles to the Government of Venezuela for use by the National Guard of Venezuela (Guardia Nacional Bolivariana), a component of the National Armed Forces, in 2012.
The National Guard of Venezuela received another batch of VN4 armoured vehicles from NORINCO in November 2015.
Coincidentally 2012 was also the year that private gun ownership was outlawed in Venezuela.
As Venezuelans fight for their freedom, a reminder: When gov't fears the people –> liberty. When people fear the gov't –> tyranny. There's nothing a tyrant loves more than an unarmed populace: https://t.co/Vd0ADHsYvz #Venezuela
