Trump Taken Out Of Context And Accused Of Racism After Telling Marxist Congresswomen To ‘Go Back’ Where ‘They Came From’
President Trump is not perfect and there have been times where I have cringed over what he has said. This is not one of those times. The left is coming unglued over a tweetstorm from Trump against the “Squad” and he is, of course, being taken out of context once again. He taunted the four far-left first-term representative Democratic women this morning, telling them to go back and fix the places they came from before telling the rest of the country what to do. That’s not the same as just telling them to go back where they came from – context is everything here.
The president’s remarks seemed to be aimed at Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who is from Somalia. On Friday, Omar said the president “shouldn’t be in office,” responding to his similar criticism of her, after questions from drooling reporters. Earlier this month, Omar told an audience of high school students that the U.S. was failing to keep its promise to be a just society. Trump’s comment very much applies to Omar and Somalia where the government is absolutely corrupt and dysfunctional. She tears down America but gives her home country a pass. The truth hurts in this case but is nevertheless accurate.
From Breitbart:
“Of the other three members, one, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), is a first-generation American whose parents immigrated from the West Bank, in an area administered by the Palestinian Authority. She represents a district that includes part of Detroit.
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) represents parts of Queens and the South Bronx and traces her roots to Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory. Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) is African-American and was born to a single mother in Chicago.
“The “Squad” is the nickname Pelosi has given the group, which is loosely organized around an organization called the “Justice Democrats,” which seeks to back primary challenges against moderate and white incumbents.
“Ocasio-Cortez and her chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, have feuded with Pelosi and the Congressional Black Caucus recently. After Ocasio-Cortez suggested Pelosi was racist, President Trump defended the Speaker — often his nemesis — on Friday.”
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly……

Even though what Trump said is what a lot of Americans are thinking, the left and the right dog-piled on him for his comments and labeled him once again as a racist. Which he isn’t.
I’m sure that Trump was poking the Democratic badger after epic infighting this week between Pelosi and the “Squad.” However, it did not go over well and the president should probably have refrained from this tactic. Pelosi, of course, did not appreciate it and was quick to attack Trump saying he wanted to make America ‘white’ again. She also called Trump’s comments xenophobic and asked for an end to all ICE raids, in favor of bipartisan immigration reform. You know… open borders.
….it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

Naturally, Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tried to flip the script on Trump in her Twitter reply and blame him for the corruption and lawlessness at the southern border. She accused him of purposely instilling fear while being driven by anger. What she is blathering about has nothing to do with Trump’s tweets. The woman is not a skilled politician or much of anything else other than a moron. Pelosi and the “Squad” deserve each other as far as I’m concerned.
Tlaib tweeted out a call for impeachment in response to Trump’s comments and said he represents the real crisis, not the immigration issues on the southern border. Another non-sequitur response and deeply stupid and self-serving to boot.
Right on cue, here comes CAIR. The Washington-based Council on American-Islamist Relations (CAIR) condemned Trump’s comments and issued a statement through their National Executive Director Nihad Awad:
“Trump’s latest racist tweets echo the bigoted shouts of ‘go back where you came from’ heard daily by American Muslim women and children, immigrants and members of other minority communities across our nation. It is sad to see the occupant of the Oval Office transition from empowering and encouraging racist taunts to actually using them himself,” Awad said. “If Trump shouted the same thing at a Muslim woman wearing hijab in a Walmart, he might be arrested.”
Omar has fundraised for CAIR, the influential civil rights group for Muslims. CAIR has been condemned by conservatives, who say the group unfairly labels its critics as Islamophobic. They are in fact religious bigots and racists themselves.
When @realDonaldTrump tells four American Congresswomen to go back to their countries, he reaffirms his plan to “Make America Great Again” has always been about making America white again.

Justin Amash who just left the Republican Party and is leaning more and more leftward these days kicked dirt on Trump too. So did Never-Trumper David French. Just disgraceful. They let their dislike for the president discolor their view on events and all it does is hurt Americans in general.
To tell these American citizens (most of whom were born here) to “go back” to the “crime infested places from which they came” is racist and disgusting. https://t.co/sIAqg8bTIb

Matt Wolking the deputy director of communications for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, got in on the action as well and said the media was already mischaracterizing the president’s comments. “Anyone who says the president told members of Congress to go back to where they came from is lying,” he wrote on Twitter. “He told them to “Then come back and show us how it is done.” He is absolutely right on this.
I reject @realDonaldTrump’s xenophobic comments meant to divide our nation. Rather than attack Members of Congress, he should work with us for humane immigration policy that reflects American values. Stop the raids – #FamiliesBelongTogether!

Was it wise to tweet what Trump did? No, I don’t think so. It gives the left ammo to knock Trump even more and level racism charges against him that are not accurate or true. Many are calling him an idiot because three of the “Squad” were born in America – again context here is important and I believe that what Trump was alluding to was deliberately missed and misconstrued.
The left excels at twisting words, lying, and manipulation. That’s what we have here once again. I am not an apologist for Trump… but it is obvious to me what he meant here and it has nothing to do with racism. He is flatly telling them to fix what is wrong where they came from before tearing down the greatest nation on earth. Hard to argue with that premise.
Mr. President, the country I “come from,” & the country we all swear to, is the United States.
But given how you’ve destroyed our border with inhumane camps, all at a benefit to you & the corps who profit off them, you are absolutely right about the corruption laid at your feet. https://t.co/HLKQCotR8T

You are angry because you can’t conceive of an America that includes us. You rely on a frightened America for your plunder.
You won’t accept a nation that sees healthcare as a right or education as a #1 priority, especially where we’re the ones fighting for it.
Yet here we are.

He is the crisis.
His dangerous ideology is the crisis.

See how quickly we have moved from two powerful white women, @maureendowd and @SpeakerPelosi helping each other to attack women of color over a nice box of chocolates…
..to the president telling them to leave the country.

Take the Judge Curiel moment, mix in “shithole” countries, sprinkle in a few Tucker monologues, and you’ve got this miserable, hateful stew. But the truly depressing part will be the inevitable GOP gaslighting, rationalizations, and minimizations in his defense. https://t.co/AUW9hQXtEp
