Yesterday, Feb. 25th, an active sunspot on the far side of the sun blasted a coronal mass ejection (CME) over the sun’s northwestern limb.

Sun spot AR1682 has a magnetic field that has enough energy to produce M class flares and forecasters give a 10% chance of an eruption. The possibility of an X class eruption is put at 0.1%
