Todays sunspot number is 70. An emerging sunspot that threw off a CME towards Venus last week is rotating onto the front of the sun disc meaning it is on the Earth side of the sun. Its potential for Earth bound CME’s will become more clear over the next few days.

NOAA estimate the chance of an M class flare over the next 24 hours at 10% with a 0.1% chance of an X class flare over the same period.
