This, Right Here, Proves the Trump Miss Universe “Fat-Shaming” Controversy Is Totally Bogus

This, Right Here, Proves the Trump Miss Universe “Fat-Shaming” Controversy Is Totally Bogus

Hillary made sure to criticize Donald Trump in the first debate for fat-shaming a former Miss Universe — comments Trump reportedly made when Alicia Machado who gained 60 pounds in the year after receiving her crown.

The claim is that Trump called her “Miss Piggy” and shamed her about her weight gain.

Keep in mind, the media is so desperate at this point to find reasons to attack Trump that don’t connect him with the Clintons (otherwise they’d go with the pedo island Jeffrey Epstein angle), they have dug up this comment controversy that happened TWENTY YEARS AGO.

That’s right, Machado won Miss Universe in 1996.

Now, two decades later, the establishment media is alight with articles admonishing Trump for his terrible behavior toward women because he was mean about 1996 Miss Universe’s weight gain:

NYT: Shamed and Angry: Alicia Machado, a Miss Universe Mocked by Donald Trump

HuffPo: Another Miss Universe Contestant Says She Was Fat-Shamed By Donald Trump

Bloomberg: Donald Trump’s Miss Universe Controversy Isn’t Going Away (Gee, wonder why… it’s only been two decades ago)

The Guardian: Alicia Machado, Miss Universe weight-shamed by Trump, speaks out for Hillary Clinton (of course, that’s the point of the whole thing)

But CNN is perhaps the worst of them, running not just multiple stories about Trump’s comment about Ms. Universe and her response today with fresh interviews but also as many spin-off stories as it seemingly can, with headlines like:

Donald Trump’s Trouble with Women — an Incomplete List

On an aside, Ms. Machado can act like an innocent little flower whose feelings have been trampled by psychologically devastating Trump comments about her weight from 20 years ago, but this is the same woman who graphically cheated on her fiancé on a reality TV show back in 2006 (via The Sun):

In a now infamous 2005 episode of ‘La Granja,’ Alicia apparently had sex in front of the cameras with Spanish TV host Fernando Acaso.

Machado was engaged to Philadelphia Phillies baseball star Bobby Abreu at the time. He quickly called off the wedding after clips of the show appeared online.

The broadcast showed Acaso on top of her, with Machado whispering in Spanish about his manhood.

“Oh your d***, my love, what a tasty d***! Your d*** is divine,'” she moans while they romp.

Later during the broadcast replay, the show’s host read aloud what Machado had written about the man.

“Really, that guy is cute, he loves me, he understands me, he accepts me, he protects me, he supports me, he respects me,’ read her testimonial. “He treats me like a goddess, he f***s me like a b****!”

So she would cheat on her fiancé by having sex on a reality TV show and she refers to herself as a “b*tch,” but the worst thing that’s ever happened to her in her life is Trump made rude comments about her weight two decades ago?

Got it.

Trump took over the company that runs the Miss Universe contest after Machado’s win. Trump says the company actually wanted to fire her for putting on so much weight, but he saved her job.

“Say what you want, but, I mean, they know what they’re getting into. It’s a beauty contest. And I said, ‘Don’t do that. Let her try and lose the weight.’ Can you imagine I end up in a position like this?”

Trump also pointed out the whole thing is a Hillary cheap shot and a distraction.

It obviously is. Besides being about stupid old comment drama, here’s the main reason why.

CNN, who is working overtime to shine a giant spotlight on Trump’s terrible treatment of women using this 20-year-old comment as proof, actually made fat jokes about Machado of their own back in 1997:

The CNN article by Jeanne Moos (coincidental pun?) begins with “When Alicia Machado of Venezuela was named Miss Universe nine months ago, no one could accuse her of being the size of the universe. But as her universe expanded, so did she, putting on nearly 60 pounds.”

How exactly is that any better than the comment Trump made? How is “No one could accuse her of being the size of the universe… as her universe expanded, so did she” not fat-shaming/weight-shaming/body-shaming?

AND TO BOOT, CNN even quoted Trump STICKING UP FOR HER in their own rude, fat-shaming 1997 article!

“Some people when they have pressure eat too much. Like me. Like Alicia,” said Donald Trump, the executive producer of the Miss Universe Pageant.

But they’ll attack Trump for the same thing they did for days now? Hypocrites.

CNN spends all day reporting on what a misogynist Trump is, but devotes no time to any scandals involving Hillary, her husband, or their foundation (which the outlet actually sucks up to every chance it gets).

It’s beyond obvious how biased CNN is for Hillary at this point, but its sad what complete and utter hypocrites they have shown themselves to be time and again. How anyone can watch or read anything CNN produces without knowing full well what a steaming pile of baised propaganda it is, is beyond me.

In fact, here’s a video of ten straight minutes of CNN and MSNBC cutting guests’ mics off for saying bad things about Hillary.

They might as well change their name to Clinton News Network and get it over with.
