WSJ is reporting that, for the first time, the U.S. government just officially put sanctions on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and 10 other NK senior officials. The “campaign to attack Kim Jong Un’s regime” is reportedly not just retaliation for nuclear weapons and missiles tests, but for the county’s “nationwide system of prison camps, torture chambers and propaganda organs that keep the Northeast Asian country isolated”.

Cartoonishly as if to prove the point, North Korea recently sent hundreds of “state-sponsored slave” workers into EU nations to circumvent the sanctions; the laborers, who work 10-12 hour days, are forced to send up to 90 percent of their pay back to North Korea.
