About 10 days ago, I had a friend who served 2 tours in Iraq call me with some information. He spoke of a team of Christians who are heading to Iraq to help the fight against ISIS, and wanted to know if I would be able to help. Of course I was eager to do what I could, and subsequently published this article. Additionally, we had the group’s leader, Jeremiah, as a guest on The Liberty Brothers Radio Show.
As a surprising addition to making the connection with Jeremiah, my friend also introduced me to an interpreter named Rasoul Mohamad, who goes by the name “Shady.” My friend who served in Iraq worked closely with Shady for 2 years, and gave him his highest recommendation.
Shady is not your ordinary interpreter, for he has received accommodations from the US Military for rescuing, and saving the lives, of American servicemen. Shady goes out to the front for a couple days at a time, and narrowly missed being blown up twice by ISIS since I spoke to him by phone a few days before the following interview.
Shady joined The Liberty Brothers, via skype, from his secure location in Northern Iraq late last week. We hope to be able to connect with him every 3 or 4 days, and pass those reports along to our listening audience.
