The BBC is reporting that newly appointed Secretary of State John Kerry is prepared to increase support to Syrian rebels trying to overthrow the President Bashir al-Assad.
He said during a press conference in Paris on Wednesday that he wanted advice from the rebels on how best to end the bloodshed.
“We want their advice on how we can accelerate the prospects of a political solution because that is what we believe is the best path to peace, the best way to protect the interests of the Syrian people, the best way to end the killing,”
