Although NOAA are forecasting a CME hit, there still has been no announcement of roughly when it can be expected to arrive. They are anticipating a high possibility of bright auroras at high latitudes when it hits the Earths magnetic field.

Todays sunspot number is 87.

Two new sunspots AR1791 and AR1792 have appeared on the Earth facing side of the Sun but nothing is known so far about their magnetic field.

A large coronal hole is emerging on the NE limb of the sun.
