Staged Stunt: ‘Protester’ Lights Himself on Fire Outside Trump’s DC Hotel as Build up to Inauguration Violence Continues
So we still have three days to go until the inauguration, and we’re already to the level of people setting themselves on fire outside of Donald Trump’s D.C. hotel.
Daily Mail reported:
The 45-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, said the act was in protest of the President-elect’s looming inauguration.
Witnesses described how he yelled ‘Trump’ several times as ‘flames ran up his back’ before lying down in the street.
He suffered non-life-threatening burns and was taken to hospital shortly after the incident at around 9.30pm.
It is also mentioned here that he was not arrested. Continuing —
He then walked over to the police/security,’ Michael Shoag, who arrived at the hotel after the man set himself on fire, said.
While the man appeared to have suffered burns to his back, he was able to walk.

Not only was it caught on tape, but NBC News was even able to get an interview at the scene… where they were apparently already waiting and set up for an interview in case anyone set themselves on fire there or…?
In a brief interview with NBC at the scene, he said: ‘I tried to light myself on fire as an act of protest. I’m protesting the fact that we’ve elected somebody who is completely incapable of respecting the Constitution of the United States.’
The Washington Post, an outlet that has become notoriously completely unreliable as of late, claims the man only suffered non-life-threatening burns on just ten percent of his body. Amazing. That’s pretty lucky for setting one’s self on fire with an accelerant at night in the dark, isn’t it?
SO…
Let’s recap.
A man from California shows up outside Trump’s DC hotel after nine o’clock at night, takes out a lighter and some accelerant, yells some stuff about Trump, sets himself on fire, puts himself out, gives a brief interview with NBC News, then walks over to security and police to be taken to the hospital, he is not arrested, and amazingly he only suffers non-life-threatening burns on just ten percent of his body.
Let’s call this what it is.
This is a staged stunt obviously performed by someone who knew what he was doing. Who else can douse themselves in accelerant and click a lighter to themselves and miraculously end up not engulfed in flames and dead but with only ten percent non-life-threatening burns? And the news crew just happened to show up in time to catch it all on tape and grab a quick interview before the man was taken to the hospital?
This was not just some random anti-Trump protester. He was there to perform. He even walked up to security afterwards of his own accord — supposedly after almost being burned to death — and gave a mainstream media interview when he was done with his show.
Three days to go, and this is already the level we’re at.
The Daily Mail is reporting that some 400,000 protesters are flocking to DC this weekend — almost half a million people. No word on how many of them have been paid to protest by companies like this one. This inauguration is building up to be the most provocateured political event America has seen seen in a long time.
