With stories discussing how military jets had Erdogan’s plane in their sights during the coup attempt and failed to fire for no apparent reason, it started to become pretty obvious to a lot of people that the coup was staged as an excuse for Erdogan to not only consolidate his tyrannical power but to purge. The latest news says he’s now had 62 schoolchildren put in prison for treason.
