Propaganda Alert: NYT Tries to Make Jeb Bush Look Cool with Puff Piece About Him Meeting Rapper Ludacris
And not even under the “Entertainment” section, but under the “Business” section. Really?? Propaganda is one thing, but when it becomes this painfully obvious, it just hurts.
If the New York Times could kiss more unofficial American dynasty establishment butt, we aren’t sure how.
In their quest to make Jeb Bush look hip and trendy and repackage him as someone America should want as their next selected (not elected) puppet-in-chief, the outlet posted a cutesy little puff piece about how he met rapper Ludacris at a recent speaking engagement in Georgia.
How it apparently works is, Jeb Bush’s team Tweets something, and the NYT jumps all over it as fodder for pro-Jeb stories.
It started with this:
Never thought @Ludacris would be my opening act! His foundation does great work pic.twitter.com/RsF00SQgOw
— Jeb Bush (@JebBush) March 19, 2015
Then the NYT wrote literally two paragraphs, starting with this:
Jeb Bush was in Georgia on Thursday, speaking to state lawmakers about education. But before delivering his remarks, Mr. Bush met the rapper Ludacris, who was being honored by the Legislature for his work with the Ludacris Foundation.
And suddenly that makes top story on Twitter, like so:
And people begin sharing it everywhere, like so:
“@nytpolitics: Jeb Bush Meets Ludacris http://t.co/7ujB1vkTK4” don’t even need to read the article the headline is great
— montana elliot (@montanaelliot) March 19, 2015
And it garners a place in the top headlines all over the mainstream news outlets, including Google News, like so:
And not even under the “Entertainment” section, but under the “Business” section. Really?? Just because it’s The New York Times.
This is not the first time NYT got caught bending over for Jeb Bush and Co. Back in October the outlet wrote the fawning Bush piece, “The Bushes, Led by W., Rally to Make Jeb ‘45’” and, oddly, did not allow comments so no one could rank or comment on the story whatsoever.
You might say it isn’t helping to post this here, but the point is to point out the propaganda and show how this works, how they work over the population with this kind of blatant b.s.-ery. Next thing you know, Jeb will be on Jimmy Fallon. Maybe they’ll even sing a song together.
Luckily at The Daily Sheeple, our readers are smart enough not to be fooled into thinking Jeb Bush is anything other than a slick used car salesman for his daddy’s New World Order.
Then again, propaganda is one thing, but when it becomes this painfully obvious, it just hurts.
.@JebBush met @Ludacris in Georgia today. In ’08, Ludacris wrote a song calling Jeb’s brother “mentally handicapped” http://t.co/7kEyBpqzFJ — Arlette Saenz (@ArletteSaenz) March 19, 2015
