POLL: MAJORITY REJECT OBAMA POLICIES BECAUSE THEY’RE BAD, NOT BECAUSE OF RACISM

Eric Holder’s “racial animus” is a desperate and pathetic attempt to pass off record low approval ratings.

According to a new Rasmussen Poll, a sizeable majority of Americans do not believe that opposition to Obama’s key policies stems from racism, as both the President and the Attorney General have repeatedly suggested.

The survey found that 61% of likely U.S. voters think people who oppose the president’s policies do so primarily because they believe his policies are just plain bad, not because they are racist.

Attorney General Eric Holder’s likely response will be that this poll is also somehow racist. Holder has consistently suggested that criticism of Obama’s policies is driven purely by racism.

Holder’s latest outburst came this past weekend on ABC News, as he charged that he and the President have been targets of “a racial animus” by political opponents.

“There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me [and] directed at the president,” Holder said.

“You know, people talking about taking their country back. … There’s a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there’s a racial animus.”

“We’ve made lots of progress,” he added, fully breaking out the race card by adding. “I sit here as the first African-American attorney general, serving the first African-American president of the United States. And that has to show that we have made a great deal of progress.”

Holder also defended his previous comments about race, including his infamous “nation of cowards” speech.

“I wouldn’t walk away from that speech,” Holder said. “I think we are still a nation that is too afraid to confront racial issues,” rarely engaging “one another across the color line [to] talk about racial issues.”

Holder isn’t alone in his assertions, Obama himself has played the race card on several occasions. Most notably recently In an interview with the New Yorker magazine, Obama said that his skin color may help explain his declining job-approval rating. “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said. “Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president.”

At a time when ALL branches of government are hitting all time low approval ratings, the desperation of playing the race card is clearly evident. According to Gallup, The presidency is now at 29 percent, a six-year low, and an all time low under Obama, just 4 points higher than the all time low under then reviled George W. Bush in 2007.

Approval for the Presidency, has fallen a full seven percentage points from its 2013 rating of 36 percent. To suggest this is all driven by racism is scraping the barrel when one considers the multitude of scandals the administration has been at the centre of, including the NSA, VA, IRS and Benghazi debacles, in addition to the handing of the crisis on the border, and the situations in Syria and Iraq.

Americans have come to expect the racism propaganda from a desperate administration now. Red State has a comprehensive and entertaining list of the occasions on which Obama and his cronies have busted out the race card:
