This new spill created a visible thirteen-by-two-mile oil slick in the water nearly 100 miles south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana.

Add this to whatever’s still floating around in there from the disastrous BP oil spill.

A Shell Oil subsea wellhead just dumped the equivalent about about 2,100 barrels of oil into the Gulf.

Eco Watch reports this new spill created a visible thirteen-by-two-mile oil slick in the water nearly 100 miles south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana.

While Shell claims this latest spill has been contained, and there’s been no direct impact to the coastline just yet, concerned citizens are wondering if we’ve even been told the truth about how much (more) oil just got dumped into the Gulf this time.

These mega corporations have turned the Gulf into one big industrial toilet. How anyone can still eat any seafood coming out of those waters without utter trepidation is an amazing feat of cognitive dissonance.
