While Obama will use the 7/7/16 Dallas event to push for gun control, as he did right away the very next day after it happened:
While he’ll do that for every ounce its worth, Obama has refused requests to light the White House blue in honor of the dead police officers whose deaths he’ll use to push gun control.
But he will light it rainbow colored for LGBT rights:
And even pink for breast cancer awareness:
While some have suggested that the White House was lit up purple after Prince died, those stories have been debunked and the pictures of the purple White House reportedly photoshopped.
Could Obama’s refusal be part of why a large portion of Dallas residents do not want Obama to visit today?
