Obama Just Broke a New Record on Regulations — a Whopping 527 Pages in a Single DAY

Barack Obama celebrates election victory

Wow. Maybe Obama is going for another award or something.

The president, who is on pace to increase the national debt another $2.4 trillion in his final year, just passed a whopping 527 pages of regulations in a single day — a new record, even for him.

The Washington Examiner reports:

President Obama has just set a new record for rules and regulations, his administration spitting out 527 pages worth in just one day, as he races to put his fingerprint on virtually every corner of American life and business.

According to the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the administration has just shattered the old record for pages of regulations and rules published by the in-house journal, the Federal Register.

At 81,640 total pages for 2016, it ranks first and 235 pages more than all of those published in 2010, the previous record.

And don’t forget, he still has 26 working days left this year!

Wonder if anyone is going to wade through them all to find out what he’s trying to push through before Trump takes office?

As far as the debt goes…

The national debt just hit $19.5 trillion in September, up from $10.6 trillion when Obama took office. Michael Snyder of Economic Collapse blog has already reported that, after the calculations are in, it would be mathematically impossible to pay off all of America’s national debt even if you took every single penny out of the pockets of every single American right this second. Even paying a little at a time wouldn’t work, not the way things are set up now. Then again, October saw the world’s debt hit an insane $152 trillion, so America isn’t alone.
