Obama Is Trying Rush the Fight Against ISIS to Influence the Election

Wherever there are wars, there are self-absorbed politicians handing out insane orders to the people who are doing the actual fighting. That’s because politicians are always more concerned with the next election than they are with the well-being of soldiers. If a war doesn’t go according to plan (and who are kidding, they never do) a politician’s career could grind to a halt, and that’s the only thing they really care about.

Although President Obama is not up for reelection, he does serve the interests of the globalists, and they can’t stand the thought of someone like Trump winning. So what could he do to influence the election? If the claims of Retired Army General Michael D. Barbero are correct, then Obama is trying to leverage the war against ISIS to insure that Hillary wins.

According to his contacts in Baghdad, Obama has set an “artificial timeline” for the Iraqi military to retake the city of Mosul from ISIS. He is pushing the Iraqi’s to capture Mosul before the election in November so that Hillary can dispute Republican claims that the Obama administration isn’t doing enough to fight ISIS.

General Barbero, who commanded troops in the Gulf War, told the Washington Times that “There is tremendous concern that Washington is going to press for a Mosul operation to commence before the November election. The concern is, will the conditions be set on the ground by then, and I don’t think so.”

The problem is that while the Iraqi Army has improved since Mosul fell to ISIS, they are not yet prepared to retake the massive city, which houses over 2 million people and 10,000 ISIS fighters who have their backs to the wall, and plenty of time to prepare. Of course, such matters do not concern politicians. They have elections to win, and can’t be bothered with the plight of soldiers desperately trying to save their country from Islamic extremists.
