NSA: Tapped and Nowhere To Hide – Phone Calls, Texts and E-Mails

It has recently been reported that the National Security Agency (NSA) has thousands of analysts that can listen to all forms of your private communications, while the establishment will now likely use the press to yet even further condition the general public into submission.

That’s right they are our masters and we are the slaves, as the NSA is now telling us publicly they don’t care what we as American’s think, nor do they plan to alter their agenda.

Right now they are getting you to accept your fate. They are telling you how it is. They will be watching and listening to all forms of your private communications. 1984 is now here.

News.Cnet.com reported, “The National Security Agency has acknowledged in a new classified briefing that it does not need court authorization to listen to domestic phone calls, a participant said.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat, disclosed on Thursday that during a secret briefing to members of Congress, he was told that the contents of a phone call could be accessed “simply based on an analyst deciding that.”

If the NSA wants “to listen to the phone,” an analyst’s decision is sufficient, without any other legal authorization required, Nadler said he learned. “I was rather startled,” said Nadler, an attorney and congressman who serves on the House Judiciary committee.

Not only does this disclosure shed more light on how the NSA’s formidable eavesdropping apparatus works domestically, it also suggests the Justice Department has secretly interpreted federal surveillance law to permit thousands of low-ranking analysts to eavesdrop on phone calls.

James Owens, a spokesman for Nadler, provided a statement on Sunday morning, a day after this article was published, saying: “I am pleased that the administration has reiterated that, as I have always believed, the NSA cannot listen to the content of Americans’ phone calls without a specific warrant.” Owens said he couldn’t comment on what assurances from the Obama administration Nadler was referring to, and said Nadler was unavailable for an interview. (CNET had contacted Nadler for comment on Friday.)

Because the same legal standards that apply to phone calls also apply to e-mail messages, text messages, and instant messages, being able to listen to phone calls would mean the NSA analysts could also access the contents of Internet communications without going before a court and seeking approval.”

The ball is already in motion. Everyone, including teenage kids (and in some cases younger), are using portable electronic devises such as PDA’s, pads, laptops, cell phones, pages and more to communicate. In fact, most communicate publicly through Facebook and Twitter type social media accounts as they have already conditioned us to list our whole lives out for the world to see.

Now, whether public or secret the NSA has claimed the right to tap you using any electronic means connected to your electronic footprint. Sometimes makes me wonder just how deep the conspiracy goes.

Let’s face it, there is now not only a personal computer in every home, there is Internet, smart TVs, 2-way cable boxes with cameras, and more. Portable electronic devises such as pads, laptops and phones are highly popular in today’s society  and for good reason. However, we must look at the parties responsible for bringing this technology to the populace.

Was there a plan from the beginning, or is the NSA just stepping up there game in the name of our safety (rhetoric)?

That’s just what former Vice President Dick Cheney, who played a key role in the events that took place on September 11, 2001, is saying. Cheney has recently been in defense if the NSA’s new spying program publicly.

CBS reported, “When you consider somebody smuggling a nuclear device into the United States, it becomes very important to gather intelligence on your enemies and stop that attack before it ever gets launched,” he said.

Cheney called the former defense contractor who leaked the programs, 29-year-old Edward Snowden, a “traitor” who violated the trust invested in him by the government and thereby dealt considerable harm to America’s security.

“I think it’s one of the worst occasions in my memory of somebody with access to classified information doing enormous damage to the national security interests of the United States,” he said.”

This coming from one of the main conspirators of the 9/11 attacks. The same Dick Cheney that runs drills testing wargaming scenarios that end in underground bunkers.
