The Sun is causing some concern as NOAA Increase the M-class flare risk to 60%. The Risk of X-class flares remains unchanged at 10%.

Several sunspots harbor the energy for M-class flares at the moment, but neither NOAA or NASA have given a details as to what made them increase the risk factor from the 30% it stood at a couple of hours ago.

Todays sunspot number is 111.
