Newtown Residents Angered By NRA Robocalls
Some residents of the Connecticut community devastated by December’s school shooting are outraged over robocalls they have received from the National Rifle Association.
Newtown residents have complained that they have been contacted by the NRA over the gun control issue. Some had also been contacted by postcards from the NRA.
“It’s ridiculous and insensitive. I can’t believe an organisation would be so focused on the rights of gun owners with no consideration for the losses this town suffered,” Newtown resident Dan O’Donnell told NBC affiliate WVIT-TV.
