Never Forget? Rudy Giuliani Just Forgot About 9/11 in His Trump Speech

For someone who was once nicknamed “Mayor noun-verb-9/11” for how many times he would inject 9/11 into practically anything he was talking about in front of a camera in the decade after the September 11 attacks, it seems Mayor Giuliani just forgot about 9/11.

Speaking today at a Donald Trump campaign event in Ohio, Giuliani said:

“Under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States,” said Giuliani. “They all started when Clinton and Obama got into office.”

Oh really? But But But… But the official government story of 9/11 is that it was done by radical Islamic Al Qaeda terrorists. That’s why the U.S. had to invade Iraq (or was that those darn weapons of mass destruction?). That’s why America is still at the nation’s longest war in Afghanistan, right? That’s why the Pentagon and CIA are helping to rearrange the Middle East right now like deck chairs on the Titanic?
