Will the truth about the police shooting of Michael Brown ever come out?

Move over Trayvon. This time it could be war.

Trayvon Martin being shot by a “white hispanic” neighborhood watch volunteer held the headlines for a month or so as the victim-mongers worked overtime to incite a race war. In the end, they were unsuccessful because Trayvon was a punk and a wannabe gangster who clearly attacked the neighborhood watch volunteer and was in the process of beating him to death when self-defense took over and the volunteer shot Martin. That was the initial finding of the police on the scene as well as the county prosecutor. It wasn’t until the governor appointed a special prosecutor who has a history of shoddy prosecution that the victim lobby got fed.

Fortunately, the very courageous, all female, jury saw through the prosecution’s table pounding substitute for the truth and reached the right verdict. Other than the expected howling and spitting, that episode ended pretty well.

Now we’ve got Ferguson, MO and Michael Brown.  As we’ve noted, this is not going to end well. In this case, the lines are clearly drawn and nobody is in any hurry to back off and this is not anything like the Martin shooting no matter how the victim-driven-media tries to portray it.

First of all, Trayvon Martin was a punk, gangster wannabe who had had frequent encounters with the police. We are pretty sure Michael Brown was more on the order of a pretty good kid. We’ve formed that opinion because in the week since Brown’s shooting we’ve not heard or read one word about any previous problems with the cops, and with all the national attention on this shooting, if the cops had anything on Brown it would have leaked.

Second, we’ve got two vastly divergent stories about what happened. Here’s what the Ferguson Chief of Police is saying.

The officer who shot and killed an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Missouri was injured in the alleged altercation, according to Ferguson Chief of Police Tom Jackson.

Jackson, who spoke on the phone with News 4′s Laura Hettiger Wednesday morning, said the officer “was hit” and the “side of his face was swollen.” The chief did not say if the officer suffered any broken bones.

Police said … 18-year-old Michael Brown was walking with a friend in the middle of Canfield when an officer attempted to exit his vehicle. Police said Brown pushed the officer back into the police car. According to police, Brown then entered the officer’s vehicle and a struggle ensued over the officer’s weapon. Police said during the physical altercation a shot was fired inside of the car.

Here’s what the young man who was with Michael has to say.

Is the police chief’s statement true? Is Dorian Johnson telling the truth? We don’t know right now, but we’re sure of one thing, one of them is lying. In addition to Johnson’s statement, there seems to be quite a bit of contemporaneous discussion that corresponds to what Johnson is saying. We’ll see if the truth comes out.

To make matters exponentially worse, the black residents are rioting, they’ve had at least three nights of riots, destroying their neighbors businesses. Of course the police have been called out, and yesterday another man was shot by police.

A second man has been shot by police in the Missouri city where an unarmed black 18-year-old was shot dead last weekend, according to multiple reports.

Police officials told local reporters that the man was shot in Ferguson by a St Louis County officer after pointing a handgun at him soon after 1am on Wednesday, following fresh demonstrations over the death on Saturday of Michael Brown.

The officer was responding to reports of shots being fired and men wearing ski masks carrying shotguns.

The Michael Brown incident is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Department in St Louis county AND by the FBI. That will almost certainly be a mess. We’re pretty sure of that because of the mess the FBI made of things in Florida. They investigated Trayvon Martin’s shooting and found that there was no indication of any civil rights violations nor was there any evidence of wrongful death. The FBI report was squashed by the bosses and the Department of Justice. We have absolutely no confidence in either the Department of Justice or the FBI that they will conduct anything but a politically motivated “investigation.” After all, if it will take up headline space and suck all the air out of cable and broadcast news before the mid-term election, we’re positive that the moguls in the Obama administration will do everything possible to make sure somebody burns Ferguson to the ground.

We’re really disturbed by this because we’re leaning toward the idea that Michael Brown was effectively executed last week. The problem in Ferguson is that the professional race baiters are hot after this case and they have one agenda, to “prove” that America is racist to the core, justice be damned.
